Billy Allen

General Manager/Golf Professional

A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Billy’s golf career began at Rolling Hills in 1994 where he began working in the pro shop and on the maintenance staff.  As an accomplished player, during this time Billy also began giving instruction to members who would ask for golf tips.  In 1998, Billy moved on to play collegiate golf for Hinds Community College for two years before transferring to the University of Southern Mississippi.

After working various jobs within the golf business through college, Billy took the position of Golf Professional & Superintendent at Rolling Hills in 2006. In 2009, he was offered the position of Assistant Golf Professional/Guest Services Supervisor at Dancing Rabbit Golf Club.  During his time at Dancing Rabbit, Billy expanded his duties to include the majority of the golf instruction and VIP coordination.

Billy has been with Deerfield Golf Club since May of 2014 since its reorganization.  He began as the Assistant Golf Professional and has since worked his way through the ranks to become the General Manager.  His goal for Deerfield Golf Club is to help create an atmosphere for all employees, members, and guests to enjoy while also increasing the value of the business for the owners of the club.  Billy is happy to make himself available at any time for any assistance needed whether it be for instruction, inquiries, or suggestions.

Leigh Brannan

Leigh has been a member of Deerfield since 1979. He moved to Deerfield in 1984 and has been employed here since 1986. Leigh has been the Head Golf Professional since 1988. He was the 2005 Mississippi Golf Professional Of The Year and was Gulf States PGA Player Of The Year 6 times. During his career he has coordinated over 1,800 Golf tournaments.
As a managing partner of Deerfield Golf Club, Leigh prides himself in ensuring that you have the best golf experience day in and day out.
